According to Wikipedia, who took their info from the US Census Bureau, baby boomers are categorized as those born between 1946 and 1964. They then go on to say it’s also a cultural thing, so impossible to define.
We’re with them there – we sure ain’t easy to define!
As of pretty soon, all baby boomers will be at least fifty years old. Upper limit… well listen, if you’re counting, you probably aren’t one of us.
So What’s The Baby Boomer Blog about?
It’s about stuff that interests us. Or stuff we might find useful. Food, wine, travel, gifts, a bit of tech, motors, boats, the occasional look into finance or business. By its nature there’s no real focus – anything and everything.
Well, not quite everything.
We definitely will not be talking politics or religion. Nor will we be featuring scantily clad people of any persuasion.
We’re also not going to be running forums. We’re not trying to be Facebook, Twitter or whatever. They already exist so what’s the point? If you’re into that kind of thing, that’s great – give us a like, or whatever it is you do over there
Of course we’d be delighted if you’d comment on posts and pages here – join in the general conversation (with the usual provisos about polite behavior). Fun is good. Tongue-in-cheek is good too – but people sometimes miss the point and can get arsy, so let’s be careful out there.
We hope to be a place where you can read something interesting or learn something you need to know. If what you want isn’t covered, give us a shout – we’ll see if we can include it.
If you’d like to contribute, that would be excellent. More info here.
While we’re here, lets do the legal bit.

I think that just about covers it. If you’ve got something to say, please get in touch.
